About 36 of my friends decided it would be fun to rent AID for a day. We got 4 hours of track time to ourselves. I was also able to test different intake setups and run my car for the first time since tune, udp, suspension etc. I also took this opportunity to test the electric turbo from this thread:
http://www.teamzx2.com/showthread.php?t=1880

I'm not going to list all my times because there are a lot but I am listing the best 3 that are relevant. Not really good for the car but I had a kick ass time. So here is some of the results.

Fastest Run "Short Ram Intake"
R/T … .413
60’ … 2.273
330 … 6.390
1/8 … 9.801
MPH … 71.85
1/4 … 15.212
MPH … 90.53

EFAN Pre-Maf "Best of 2 Runs"
R/T … .572
60’ … 2.365
330 … 6.648
1/8 … 10.127
MPH … 70.32
1/4 … 15.618
MPH … 89.54

EFAN Post-MAF "Best of 2 Runs"
R/T … .488
60’ … 2.501
330 … 7.065
1/8 … 10.599
MPH … 69.07
1/4 … 16.159
MPH … 88.21

I experimented with launches and it seemed best launch for my car was at 3200 RPM. I was consistentally getting 1/4 mile times between 15.2-15.4 Trap speed times were consistant between 89.99-90.65 MPH, I ran with swirlies and goodyear 185/60/15's.

It was a fun day. Last time I was at the track I was running consistantly 16.21-16.70's - 1/4 mile. These runs were done with header, exhaust, intake, 14" steelies. I think I have made a huge improvment. I think with cams, better tires, or Phantom Grip I might see a 14's. Exciting.

So wait. efan is better pre or post maf? and is that traveling from the engine or direction of air flow?

It cost around $30 a person with 26 people. Not bad to have the track to ourselves and have unlimited runs.

Efan is better pre-maf, which goes against directions, but it is not better. Your car won't idle with the efan before the maf, be prepared. It will also run very rich.

Efan is a joke, his times prove it.

15.2 is hauling for just 130whp. Are you sure that track isn't downhill?

Track is completely level, they have all sorts of events there, Pinks was there last November. It really is a great track. I launched at 3400 when I made that time. Shifted at around 7200-7300 in first, then about 7000 after that. My two fastest times were a 15.212 and a 15.253. My average was between 15.35-15.45

I guess racing in 90% humidity here in Indiana is really screwing with my time. Acutally, it screws with everyone's time. What is your sea-level there?

Yes, a 2.2 60 is pretty good for a FWD without DR's or slicks.

Well sweet, yeah I'm going to have to get some cheap tires for when I take my car to the strip since someone slashed my good years I just put Falken ziex 205-50-15 all the way around and I don't want to mess these up.

It is $500 initially + $50 per hour for paramedics.

My car club in WA rented Bremerton Raceway. There were 48 of us, around $19 a person for 6 hours at the track. I raced my Mustang, but it was definitely a blast. I made around 20 passes that day in my Mustang, and a couple in my wifes Sonata. Sonata cut some good 1/4 mile times for a big 4 door. I put down my first run under 13.5 in the Stang 13.122 @ 119mph. Mid 14's in the Sonata. I towed my car to the track that day, so I even made a pass in my 98 Z71 with 35" Goodyear MTR's and a lift kit. I put down a 16.8 in that, at 88 mph. Overall is was a BLAST!!!
