For those of you that remember the dealings with Jayco Automotive and the multiple people that this group scammed you may wonder why are they being brought up with the member jjzx2s/r and scarlett. Well, I will get to that.

For those of you that do not know what happened:
Jayco Automotive or JRacing out of Clearville, PA joined this site and immediately set up shop as a dealer. They were also on FEOA, ZX2MS, and any other zx2/escort site there was at the time. A few months into their appearance members started complaining about the services received. Parts not as described. Late shipping. Blatant lies. The final action that I couldn't look past was Jaybird(everyone even newbs should know jaybird. He's a great guy who is a committed family man and a very heavy car enthusiast). Jaybird bought a fully built, track ready, level-10 rivaling automatic trans for the zx2. It was supposed to have a high stall converter, stronger internals, better gearing for the 1/4, NEW, and was supposed to be bullet proof.

To make a long story short. None of the above promised and paid for(in excess of 4k) was delivered as promised. He did receive a transmission. But it certainly wsa not worth what he paid for it. If you want all the details I am sure he would be more than happy to tell you about it if and when he reads this.

Anyway, jayco automotive was removed from the dealers and banned from the site. He continued to sell his sub-par parts on ebay under new names every so often. A group of members here all but followed the dealings on ebay and contacted ebay a few times about the situation. This group of members was "Team Happy Feet." A usergroup made out of necessity to keep an eye out for would be scammers.

So back to why this topic is being posted. You all know jjzx2s/r and his friend scarlett right? Well, jj is jay of jayco and scarlett is jeri of jayco. This post is to serve as a warning to those who have current deals with these people to watch yourself. We don't care if you still choose to deal with these people after reading this but it is our duty as Teamzx2's Mod/Admin staff to bring this to everyone's attention.

Some background into this situation:
jjzx2s/r had been here as a member for a while. Selling, chatting, being a member.
His "friend" Scarlett joins.
Scarlett posted and acted like a filthy skank who was strung out or constantly drunk.
Teamzx2 does as teamzx2 always does and leg humps any new female that walks through the door. Demanding pics. "nudes or ban" etc etc. It happens everytime.
Somewhere along the line Scarlett and jj decided to make a new forum.
Some of the mods started calling for ban of both of them. Stating their site was out of spite, it was a copy of the layout, and that they were just a burden as members anyway at this point.
I agreed to allow them to do what they all felt was necessary.

Fast forward:
Jj and jeri spam emailed the admin email about being banned. It was quite humorous actually as an outsider looking in.
This prompted some of the more out-going and drama loving members(surprisingly some of the original members of Team Happy Feet) to join their site...a lot of times.
At this point a few of the group decided to dig deeper.
They found all the contact information for the site owner. It raised flags because it looked really really familiar. But no one quite figured it out.
After a bit more research they are without a doubt the very same group that scammed so many before on this very site.

Cliff-Notes for those who don't want to read it all...
jjzx2s/r and scarlett are without a shadow of a doubt Jayco Automotive. We have proof. We have addresses, phone numbers, emails, names, IPs, and next of kin. This information is not going to be posted in the general public for privacy reasons but if you need this information because you had dealings with them feel free to contact one of the Admin or Mod staff and we would be happy to help you with it.

Please be careful of your dealings on the internet guys and gals. We don't want to see any of you get scammed out of your hard earned money by anyone, Jayco, Skank-bags, Peanuts, Johnny Schmuckface, Scottwurks, Etc. Be very careful who you send your money to with what promises.

And to clarify. Teamzx2 officially does not care if you want to be friends with these people, talk with them, join their site, become and active member over there. We will not ban you, belittle you, talk down to you, or threaten you. We simply don't care, if you don't care.

Wow crazy. We almost had a deal going on for some parts but I went another route when he took his sweet time gathering the info and letting me know prices and pictures... Anyways I got a pm inviting me to join his new website.. went and checked it out.. NO activity and Pm'd him back asking why would you create a website for escorts when you have TeamZX2 and FEOA around as resources and marketplaces.. he never got back to me so i just dropped the site from my favourites and carried on.. I didn't know the history of JayCo.. that's crazy and I for one am thankful for guys looking out for the rest of us..

as a guy who had dealings with scottwurkz back in the day (early 2005), be careful who you deal with. i didn't get an invite to his new forum but i learned my lesson a few years ago. if people are honest and respectful in the ZX2 world they will buy and sell on here. end of story.

I've lost $200 on this forum from a prior member in Ohio back in 06.

My parents met Jaycos parents late 06 to check out a shell he said he'd give me and it was in great shape. Never had any finalized transactions withxthe guy, only read horror stories over the years.

Thanks guys for keeping up with this stuff. really helps all of us out. I actually delt with Jayco Automotive once, before they were on this site. The guy seemed very odd when I went to get the motor. luckly I got my motor, because I had to drive up there to where he lives to get it. I'll never do business with them again thats for sure. But hey I do know where they live.

If I were to guess(because I don't keep records of dates that were on previous versions of the website) I would say about 2006-2007 area. I'm sure Jaybird would know a more specific date.

Just in case they (or others) are unaware, this is all public information. You've done nothing but collected it. They can in no way sue you, even for the "tits or gtfo" that happened on here. Judges will look at this and laugh, then slap whoever filed the lawsuit.

Long and short of it: No one's getting sued, and those who threaten to sue over posted PUBLIC information are fucking idiots. Lern2law

I tried to send him a pm to inform him i have not opened it and i just want the money back. he said he shipped on so and so date and it was shipped 7 days later. if not i'll just open a paypal dispute. thanks.

Wow, so much to tell about Jayco I barely know where to start. It is funny because I have had a few PM's from him recently. I have been told he can fix my crappy Jayco tranny. The story is pretty much what was described. Back in Sept/Oct of 2006 I began a question and answer dialoge with them about purchasing one of their performance ATX trannies. In Nov I placed my payment for one with a high stall torque converter. Over the next two months I kept getting excuse after excuse as to why I had not received it; parts not readily available, illness..you name it. I am a very paient and understanding person so I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt (quite foolishly). Finally by April they stopped answering my emails(they never answer the phone) so I placed a chargeback with the credit card company I used to make the payment with. Well within a week of placing the chargeback a cardboard box package arrived...it was from Jayco! Stupid me should have sent it back (you would not believe how it was packaged..just a heavy duty cardboard box) but I decided to have it installed. Jayco finally contacted me within a few days of it arriving and I removed the chargeback (stupid me again!!) Once installed it was obvious it was NOT a performance tranny & no highstall torque converter. It would on occasion shudder while shifting into second and now every so often it slips and redlines going into second. I of course contacted them about it and they once again gave me the run around. They told me at first it needed to break in, would not aknowledge the TQ converter issue, and were hassling me about giving them my old tranny (they were supposed to give me a shipping label for it..but of course they didn't). I placed a compaint with the BBB (apparently a number of other people had done so too by that time). Jayco basicaly at this point told me that unless I sent my old tranny and payment for what they sent me (my origonal chargeback withdrawl never gave them their funds back since they changed soemthing with their credit card vendor..sounded like bs to me, prob them trying to scam mefor more money) that they would not fix it for me and would even take me to court over it(All just them bs'ing me since they didn't have a leg to stand on). By this point it was 2008 and I was able to at least have my cc company give me the money since the whole transaction was sour and Jayco could not be contacted by them. Also in 2008 I had to have the pressure plate and a shift solenoid replaced, all together nearly $1K to fix ( all points I presented to the cc company which in part is why they decided to refund me). Oh yeah, I almost forgot, it also periodically slips in and out of overdrive which makes the decision quite difficult whenever a big ZX2 meet happens. I am just afraid of burning out the bands from a long trip with it not staying in od. So anyway, that is my experience pretty much consolidated for you to read. If anyone has any questions just let me know.

The way I see it if Jayco had problems in the past and was able to set things right that is all well and good, I guess it's in the past. They are now saying that they had went bankrupt and at that point I don't think you could do much. All they have to do is setup another company and do the same thing. If it still happens this time then they can just up and do the same thing again.

Be wary of who you are buying stuff from, and be as protected as you can. We have a scammers list and list of known good sellers on this site, and at this point it would be wise to stick to those good sellers.

he pm'd a lot of members (myself included) to join that site. i did, but not for too long. he sold me a fuel pump that i had on my car until about two months ago. took a long time, i doubt it had the mileage he said it did, but it worked. promised to include some random clips for me, but never did. what a bastard :lol:
