My Yoda decided to finally give me an issue the other day! Whenever I turn the ac or heat on with any temperature or any setting the car boggs, runs like crap, and theres a REALLY LOUD squeal coming from what sounds like the serpentine belt. I am pretty sure that I just have to replace the serp belt and maybe the tensioner/another accessory pulley. I have never change a serp belt or worked with any pulleys, so any help and/or tips would be greatly appreciated!

well the sound is the belt and the bogging down might be some bad carbon build up use some seafoam. get like 2 can use a whole can in the gas make sure u add when u put gas in it. and the other can use it for the vac line (look up how to on youtube). and you should be good. and for the belt replacement does it have auto tentioner?

Seafoam should be used sparingly. I use 1 can for fuel add., vac line and oil treatment. Dog, read the quantities on the bottle and figure out the ZX2's fluid capacities. Beside the fact that the fuel system has nothing to do with your issue. The belt is not the issue either. If it was aproblem, it would do the same thig all the time. It's pretty likely that your compressor is fubar. I mean you turn on a climate control that kicks the compressor (driven by the accessory belt) and the belt starts squeeling. 99% sure your compressor's toast. You'll need a refrigerant charge when you swap it. Your belt's prolly good, but give it a good once-over tho.

Agree, the compressor would be the first thing to check.
