zx2 vs 325is

i raced a kid from work because he said his car was really fast. this waht he would say "2.0? i have a 2.5!" i said lets race after work so we go 25 with 2 beeps in 2nd gear and i won by a half car. we did it again same thing and then again this time a car. so i said before we raced that if i win he has to say he go beat by a escort lol.

his car is a 5 speed 2.5L 6 cyl

mine 1999 ford zx2 2.0 stock 4 cyl 5 speed

I raced a kid with a 325IS, I had just installed my header and hadn't launched in months.

I spun ridiculously through first and second on accident and I still won by a cars legnth, those cars are slow.

why 2nd gear at 25 i would have been in first.

They are probably pretty heavy, couple that with a smallish V-6, and you have a complete lack of performance!

2.5L INLINE 6 FTL

90* 2.5L Duratec V6 FTW

PS: MB25 engine has about 160 crank hp. Not sure of the tq but being it an inline I'm sure its weak.
