...is stupid. Why are they the only ones to do this? I'm a Miami Heat fan so no doubt we should have the first pick in the draft. Granted we'll still get a great player but it's dumb. Anyone else?

I'm a Bulls fan so I love it. #1 pick with a 1.7% chance of getting it. HA.

It is a strange concept but in a way, I like it. If you lose more games, you have a better chance of getting the top pick but not a guarantee. This may prevent teams from wanting to tank the remainder of the games to get the #1 pick. They're not guaranteed to get it, so they may continue to play for the fans instead of purposely losing games at the end of the season.

I'm sure this happens in the NFL in the final week or two of the season with teams like the Dolphins and Jets. They'll pull their starting QB and put in a benchwarmer to "get him experience", but actually blowing any chance of winning and locking up a higher draft pick.
