i'll update this original post as people post up things, so we can all view it in one place instead of reading through a thread for them. i'll start off with what i know about attaining points..which isn't much...but i'm interested.

if somebody posts in a thread you started: +1
if somebody views a thread you started: +1 (+1 for every time you click the next page too...i clicked from page 1 to 3 and 3 to 1 a few times in a thread....1 point for each time i did was awarded to the OP)
if somebody views your profile: +2
giving rep: +2
rating a thread: +1
posting: +5
starting a thread: +30
buying points: +10000 for $10 donation, +20000 for $18 donation

interest of banked points...after a 48 hour period of no activity (withdrawals OR deposits) 5% is earned. the interest earned goes into your unbanked points.

i know it's not all the ways...that's why i started this thread...for people to post up ways they find so we do know all the ways...since you haven't let us know a list of what does what for points.

and for some reason, i consider buying points a donation to the site. i'm not really getting anything other than points to buy people pictures of beers...so chalk it up as a donation. enjoy the 18 bucks i sent ya...i'll subscribe and donate more as i go along...money is tight after my alaska trip, though.

Getting threads views and viewing threads gives you points as well.

A lot of things get you points. Rep gets you points too. You get 100 points if you beat a high score in the arcade.

I won't say how much for any of them because as I have said...I plan to adjust these settings in a week or so.
