I followed Rush 20-30 years ago, and played some of their music in bands in the 1980's "Limelight" has to be one of my favorites.
How ancient is Geddy Lee ?? He has to be in his 60's, old enough to be your grandfather. Any of us would be fortunate to have a grand-dad like Geddy Lee.
Seriously, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart are/were fantastic musicians. There were a couple of other members of the band, but I remember this trio the best.

Yeah, The above metioned trio, were amazing musicians.
Their time signatures was enough to mess anyone up!!
I played some of their old stuff also in bands back in the 80's (mostly off 2112)

Alec Lifeson is my idol. It saddens me when nobody knows who he is, but everyon knows slash.
I don't mean to turn this into a hate topic, but slash is worthless. Anyone that has been playing the guityar for a few years can do what he does.
Lifeson, on the other hand, is the missing link between man and God...
Geddy's a top notch bassist, and Neil is possibly the best drummer over (subject to opinion, of course) and a great lyricist. All-in-all, that is one badass band

I've seen these tours:
Signals
P/G
Power Windows
Hold Your Fire
Presto
R/T/B
R30
and Snakes & Arrows
They are my favorite band by far...listening to La Villa Strangiato as I type this.

They came to Dallas last month. I couldn't afford tickets, and I was pissed... It won't be long before they stop touring altogether...I need to see them before that...

I love Rush. I've never owned a single album, but I am downloading (legally) some of their music right now. They really are a great band.
