so i see this older crappy looking ford probe...i get close to it..no shit, it's the most amazing car in the world! it's a supra! so i get next to the guy...rev a couple times..and we take off. i spun all the way to 2000 rpms in 1st...i think i smelled a little smoke, but it was by the waste treatment plant, so i dunno. i pound the accelerator to the floor and let the clutch pedal fly up. sweat beads up on my forehead. i can't lose. i throw the car violently into second gear. the backend gets a little loose...banana peel. somewhere in indonesia, a kid rides a bicycle past an ice cream parlor. the revs skyrocket past 3000...i push harder on the accelerator. i look over, i see nothing. i look ahead, i see nothing. i'm winning! i let the rev limiter bounce 3 times...then shift to 3rd. he starts to move up. soon, i see his front wheel...it eyes me down. right at the 1/4 mile mark...we shut down. i pull into the next parking lot, he follows. i ask him what all he has done..he says everything . it was time to explain my loss. the drag coeficiency on my car sucks..cuz one of my windows wont roll up. next time i'll beat him for sure. :chili:

but i had him on weight. i took the window motor out...so that helped. i still think if i had a drag coeficiency with the window up i coulda won.

I have seen that guy before around Champaign. One guy told me he claimed to have everything done to it. So it has to be the same one. Unless all Supra guys are that way.
