So finally I have all of the essential things to put my car back together. My exhaust gasket, plug wires, and my intake and battery will just be subbed off of the white car for a few days until I can get them. I'm pumped.. and.. leaving for CT tomorrow morning until saturday.

I'm won't be able to finish getting the car ready and on the road until monday, and now that the forum is back I won't be here to use it. Crap! I am going to fall behind on posting, and I won't be the biggest whore of 08.

I got the hood back on the silver car today. I was just doing a few random things like cleanin it out a bit more n stuff when my brother came into the garage. Perfect timing, had him help me with the hood and that went well enough. Comes off of the jackstands sunday night and she'll be out ready for a wash n wax. I'll post pictures as soon as it's all cleaned up.

This post has no real meaning. Just saying I'm happy about my car almost being ready, and the forum being back.. disappointed that I won't be here to enjoy either though.

It looks better in person really. You'll see it the 12th. It's still on!

Running ZX2's are good ZX2's.

Quick question, would a 205/50/16 work well? I'm on eibachs and I don't want to rub but my 205/45 looks too skinny. I need new tires!

Opinions on dunlops dizzera dz101?

I say yes, especially with eibachs. Baloon tires ftw!

why 16's kinda random size? to big for raceing to small for show. to each his own though.

16s look good. Any bigger look bad but with 16s you can still fit decent-sized tires on them.

I put 16s with some fat tires on my wife's car and it fills up the wheel-well very nicely and actually looks lowered at stock height.

how do you figure mang? A lightweight 16 is near perfect for racing, and looks good doing it.

I run 205/50/16's on Progress springs. After a year and a half....I rub everynow and again.

If you want to run a "50" series tire...run a 195 width. If you want the 205 width....run a "45" series. Both ways no rubs. You sacrifice one thing for the other but you can't have both with out a little rubbin. BTW, my fenders are rolled. Part of my rub is my offset of my rims.

The 45 just looks bad IMO. I'll go with a 50 and hope it doesn't rub. Progress is a bigger drop than eibachs.
