heres a how to on programing the key fobs.. can a mod sticky this if needed?




Cycle ignition from OFF to RUN or ACC eight (8) times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN or ACC. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st remote transmitter. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible). Turn ignition to OFF. The door locks will lock then unlock to confirm programming.

how can you tell if your car supports the fob? Is it all zx2 that came with power locks and windows?

look inside your trunk. Underneath the area where the antennae is, pull the carpeting/mat out. If you have a white box (gray for escorts) mounted in this area with two wiring harnesses coming out of it, then you have power door lock(s), trunk and usually factory anti-theft.

If you do not have this part installed pm me and we can arrange something.

To OP great right up. Now I just need a fob to program ;).

To all doing this: Be sure to turn it all the way to off. As I found out the first time, it DOES NOT WORK if you move from 'ON' to 'ACC.'
