Some jerk slashed my tires

Well was hanging out with some friends at O'Reileys tonight...My car was parked on the side and they were parked in the front. We hang out for a while and then go outside...well we go to leave and I notice the tire driving crappy i'm like shit I have a flat...I look down and all 4 are flat...4 new tires...So I'm out 800...400 for the old ones, 400 for the new ones i'll have to get. Some people are just f*cking jerks and need to die. Called the cops, they asked what I wanted to do because since there was no one who was out to get me then there was nothing they could do. I guess that is what I get for parking at an O'Reiles in/around Birmingham. It sucks.

when I was 18, I had someone slash my tires, all we're new also. It sucked ass, because at the time, I had no money at all.

I was parked litterally 5 miles from Birmingham city and 2 miles from a hobo camp according to the cop. It was completely random because the car parked next to me had 2 of its tires slashed instead of all 4...I had just bought tires litterally a month ago. Luckily I have a guy who can get me some Falkens for about 50 a piece. 205/50/15's. I didn't want to spend this money on tires though. This was money for school next fall and I was hoping i'd have a little left over for cams or a nitrous kit...Looks like that isn't happeneing. Some people are just jerks. I don't have anyone mad at me. I am certain, just sucks.

That happened to me on my truck. Lucky for me comprehensive coverage took care of most of it. Check with your insurance company. Rates do not go up on a comprehensive claim (that is why I pay the extra $15 or do dollars for $0 deductable.

The same week I bought my ZX2 I was driving down a road near my house with a railroad bridge over it, and two kids on top of the bridge threw a handfull of rocks at my car as I passed. I can't remember any other time when I was more pissed off. I'm still mad about it but what can you do. I have a few small paint chips by my headlights now. I guess it's nothing to get too mad over though, could have been much worse.

Now THAT is fucked up. But like you said, could have been worse. I saw a lady on TV who had severe cosmetic and brain damage from someone doing that, only they threw a brick. It was really sad.

Come to think of it, one time a friend of mine dropped a big rock on a car's hood in a parking garage, we were like 14. It seemed funny at the time but I felt really bad after he did it, and I had nothing to do with it, other than seeing him do it. It was probably kids who slashed your tires, if I had to guess.

Sorry to hear about that. It happened to my friend awhile back. He was at his girlfriend's house, and the neighbors got the license plate # (of the guy who did it) and everything. Turns out it was his g/f's ex boyfriend, who was just jealous. He got new tires out of it though, so.....

We (Jen and I) have a similar story, but it wasn't some chump kids screwing up peoples cars. Jen was driving to work in the UK, and she went around a corner in the S/R. Some gravel truck was in the other lane, and dumped gravel all over the hood of our car. Now it's kinda jacked up, but it's hard to see unless you get close. Still, it sucks.

Actually it is to inject as much small plastic beads (like small plastic popcorn) into his vents. It will take forever to clean the car out. If the car is locked don't try to do anything. You don't want to be arrested for breaking into his car.

However, if the door is unlocked or a window is left open even a crack a few pounds of the porous plastic beads let loose in his car should prove to be more than an annoyance.

I had a problem when I caught someone slashing my tires many years ago while I was an undergrad in college. I caught them in the act around 1 AM when I was coming home in someone else's car. Apparently the dude (another student) had irrational grudges against students who he felt caused him to not do well in school and had damaged other people's property including cars, but his guilt couldn't be proven.

The police didn't have a problem that I hit him once with an aluminum softball bat. It was the other 15 or 20 hits plus a BAC around 0.08 that got me in some trouble. When it was pointed out the (big nasty) knife they were using to slash my tires was a seriously lethal weapon, and the fact that I had been riding in a car with a non-drinking driver, they decided to not arrest me.

Charges were never filed, the culprit plead guilty and was suspended from school and he had to make resititution.

I did learn that when confronting a criminal you should stop when they are no longer a threat to you. So it was a lesson well learned.
