The gears in mine are grinding and wont open which makes me think the motor isnt bad, but the gears are. dont know though. this is my first car with a sunroof.
A 6'4" friend of mine tried to put his head through my sunroof and popped something on the passenger side. I wanted to take it apart but it started raining...and leaking like mad all over my car so I sealed it up. Anyone with advice about taking it apart or what might be wrong?

Well there is linkage that is responsible for holding the back of the sunroof down as well as opening it up at an angle i would suggest looking at them, also if its FUBAR'D i have a power moon roof assembly out of a 98....
