So about 2 weeks ago i met a guy (well I knew him from work) that does painting on the side for fun, so I decide to have him pinstripe my saddlebags on my 2008 harley. So 2 weeks goes by and today he calls me and tells me that he started on the left bag yesterday and the reducer or whatever you put in paint bubbled my clearcoat, he immediately wiped it off and took all the clear with it. I was speechless on the phone, I pretty sure I was just choking on my own rage:mad:. He said he sanded it down to the gel coat and that he would fix it no charge. Omg i dont even know what to do. He's goona get harley paint and clearcoat and hopefully I'll have my bags back this week. Its black paint so it shouldn't be that hard to match to the rest of the bike considering it only had 1,800 miles on it, and 1,000 on the bags.
So if anyone knows anything about painting any tips or advice would be appreciated.

ohh btw, if he cant get it to match, I allready called a harley dealer and the left side saddlebag is $511.00. But Chicago harley always has 20% off sales so it would be like $410.
