Goes out to Larka who drove 6 hours round trip to come help clean out my garage. I gave her everything for free. Something I offered the DFW guys but they were too lazy to drive 30 minutes.
So, thank you again. I hope you and Corby enjoy the fiberglass stuff and the others.:dance:

For those that haven't met her, she is super cool and awesome to talk to. Real laid back, down to earth, and knows her cars. I wish she didn't live 3 hours away so we could hang out more.

It is his god send, he is really happy with it, you should make room in your schedual for TJ :)
SIDE NOTE, TJ, I am going to look into getting an alignment and seeing the cost of some used tires going on my stock 18's rear rims and I will let you know if and when I can come up there to race

sounds good to me bud, had a cool texas tuner showdown race today btw, great turn out and fast ass cars. hope you can make it up soon bud.
Newbie from San Antonio here. Sorry I missed, just starting out with my '99 ZX2, parts would have come in handy I bet. Can anyone suggest a good place in San Antonio to get some parts, or anyone that does good work. I could do some myself, but just starting out so would rather have it done right.

I'm just up in Austin, I could help you with just about anything you want to do to your car. The best bet to get stuff is online- either here in the For Sale section or ZXtuner.

or wait until I have a free givaway again. Maybe I will hold another one with a BBQ to get everyone together. Except offer a complete stereo upgrade and some custom fiberglass work.
That would be awesome (sorry it took so long to respond - been posting in other sections). I just recently kemanized my intake. New Air filter, new plugs, found some red Ford Racing Wires in Temple, going to order them next week from dealer ($50 or so). Want to start working on my exhaust soon. Found a lot of miscellaneous parts at the local Pick-n-Pull. Just taking it little by little. Once the exhaust is done, I'd probably start saving up for Eibachs and Tokico's (That I'd probably need help with). So any help would be appreciated. I've heard we've got some good ZXTuner's in Texas.

Point me in the direction of that Pick-n-Pull... And if you need help with stuff- just let me know. I'm just up in Austin and if you give me a heads-up on when you want to work on your car, I'll be able to come down there or have you come up here.
Thanks Larka, I'll do that. Appreciate the offer of help. The Pick-N-Pull I go to is pretty awesome, huge. The had a handful of ZX2's and Escorts, some pretty gutted out already but a few with some hidden treasure I'm sure. I found a Mercury Tracer that was in EXCELLENT condition that I've been getting stuff for my car (my own secret goldmine). Here's their website (not a great one, but informative none the less):

Look forward to meeting you and everyone else in Texas soon. Take care and keep in touch.

There is also a go pull yard off of Roosevelt. It is outside of Loop 410. I don't remember the name of it but it is the last one on the left side. They have a variety of ZX2's that are pretty much still complete. I have gotten parts from there and they are a little cheaper than Pick-N-Pull. I got my 98 fuel rail there for my Nitrous install and a 19mm swaybar.
Wow, that's good to know, I'll have to go check it out.

Let me know where the junkyard is, and when you're going, and if I'm free- I'd be willing to meet up and go out there with you.
