I'm guessing it's a writeup he plans to do but hasn't yet. I was going to use this to do it though

I have a pdf file to attach but the file limit is too small. So if the limit isn't increased I'll have to print it, scan it in, then post it. I'm waiting to see if the limit is increased or not.

I got it to zip, so it can be downloaded at least.

that zip would be for a different writeup. notice the maf is never even mentioned? that's because it has absolutely nothing to do with the maf. Swapping pcm's is only a big deal if you are worried about ac.

Right you are. I should pay more attention.

This document was written by me. It details how to put a PCM from a 99.5 and newer ZX2 into an older ZX2 (98, early 99). I wrote it back in the day, when I successfully put an S/R PCM in my old 99. The A/C isn't the only problem you run into, the cooling fan runs constantly without making the other changes. This shows the correct way to do the swap, without running into different issues. This document is located on my website at www.myzx2.com (http://www.myzx2.com).

Perhaps acknowledging the original author next time might be appropriate.

The document has no bearing on the MAF, it's just a coincidence that Ford changed more wiring than just the MAF.

I read all of this post. If i was to put a 99.5+ engine into a 98, could i just use all the 98 things along with MAF and harness?

Yes, I did this with my wifes car. To make it easier on yourself, take the engine harness (everything attatched to the fuse box under the hood, including the box) off the donor car.
