ive had this pita P0446 Evap Emission Control System Vent Malfunction code over a year now and done so much work to figure it out and i finally gave up and took it to a shop and they told me that its the fuel tank pressure sensor/transducer. anybody have any input on this before i get another one tomorrow?

its on the firewall, there are 2 or 3 lines that come from under the car, one is fuel line , one other next to it goes to a black box on the firewall. Said black box also gets a vaccum from the intake mani . Check it all.

I would unplug it and see if there is pressure behind it.

the fuel pressure sensor is on top of the gas tank. theyre are no leaks either.

ive replaced the vent solenoid and canister thats behind the driver rear wheel, the purge canister behind the throttle body and all the lines to and from the purge canister, and the vents(2) that are on top of the gas tank. theye

The one on the firewall behind the intake manifold is the EVAP solenoid.

The round thing on the firewall is the canister purge valve. The canister vent solenoid is on the canister. The fuel vapor vent valve is on the fuel tank

Did you have to drop the tank to get to the fp sensor?
Thanks,
Wiley

no you dont have to drop the gas tank. its at the very rear edge of the gas tank. push down and rotate counter clockwise.

Lets hope you finally fixed it. It has been a long process. EVAP is a real pain.
