Ok, so i did my front brakes last night and I was gonna replace the rubber lines with ss braided. I went to undo the connection at the wheel well and it was completely seized. pb blaster didn't work even after a while. Question is, what are my options. Is the piece of line that goes back behind the whell well earier to take off (is it long) and is there such a thing as a compression fitting if i cut that line above the bolt that connects to the rubber line
any help would be appreciated

Compression fittings are not for brake lines.
Yes, I have used them , but I think they are illegal.
Dealer parts are super $ for brake lines.
Get new ones at the parts store and bend them to shape. Avoid hard kinks.
To take off the old crappy one, just cut the line and use a 6 point socket.

i would soak the crap outta the flare nut let it sit repeat then cut hte rubber hose off at the sleeve .. use a 6 pt socket to get around it grasp the metal lines nut with either a flare wrench or a pair of vicegrips and break it loose that way.. iffffff all else fails then replace the metal brake line but id try to leave it as is and just cut up the rubber hose your replacing anyway.

Compression fittings are not a good idea on brakes because they can't withstand the high pressures that can occur. A sudden loss of brakes is not fun.
