Well, last Saturday was my last division points race. I showed up late to the track because of Drill and I was barely able to get my car off of the tow dolly before the first heat started. I placed second in that heat, but the winner was DQ'd, so I picked up the win. I ended up winning the challenge race as well, it was an outhouse race and I posted a time of 41.xxx seconds.

As for the feature I settled into third for most of the race. With about 2 or so laps to go I was passed for third, which was more critical then I thought at the time because after the race both 1st and 2nd place cars were DQ'd.

All in all it was a really awesome night, two wins and a second in the feature. I finished the season 6th overall in points (which I am very happy about seeing as I missed 3 weeks of racing) and I snagged the bridesmaids position in the Challenge points, and with that I get to go to the awards banquet this winter.

Season tally: 3 heat wins, WOOT!

I had a couple of offers on my car at the end of the night, but I'm thinking I just might hold on to the car for next year... This season was too much fun to not do it again next year. I'll post videos as soon as I get them

Well, as it turns out, there shall be no videos of my badass dukes of hazard style jump into my race car during the challenge race. The girl who normally tapes the races wasn't present that night. Damn shame too, because it was my best night to date.
