new taco bell sauces

so, they've been out for a little while now...what's everyone's take on the new taco bell sauces? there's Verde Salsa, and Fire Roasted Salsa. the Verde is kind of bland and vinegary to me...but the fire roasted is pretty good. i mix it with the fire sauce for the kick, and it ends up tasting like the chipotle tobasco sauce.

I wasn't aware of this either, and this thread inspired me to check it out. Sure enough, we had them. I got a Deal 1 (Chicken Burrito, drink, and Doritos), 1 Flatbread, and a soft taco for $3.98.

I loved both sauces...I'd rather have those then the Mild/Hot/Fire.

they've been out here for a few months, but Peoria is noted as being a test bed for new products. the whole "if it plays in Peoria" bit or something. we've had all sorts of weird stuff in our stores here that never made it...and i wasn't sure if the new sauce was one of them until i saw a post about it on another forum.

Me too, next time I will do what Tim said and put the fire roasted and the normal fire together to make it actually have heat. New sauces is a good idea, I was getting burnt out on the old ones.

we have them but you have to ask for them. They said they can't have those and the #1-#4 deals at the same time because they are both promotional offers??? so in order to get some you have to ask them for the sauces. The guy asked me who I knew that worked there because no one is supposed to know they have them...sorry to kill the secret...lol
