Show me the deepest dish wheels you guys can find for a zx2. Also, besides 7.5" in width, anyone here with 8"? show me pics damn it! not links. :judge:
Planning to make parts and go EURO with zx2 this year.
Thanks.

mine are only 17x7, the wheel makes it look deeper.
i can put an 18x7.5 on the car in a couple weeks, but the rims need tires right now so it will be one more paycheck before i can play around.
Edit: just to have a picture in this thread. . .

What made you go to 18x7.5's? Those looked perfect for your car. Pics of the rims? I second that the Euro look might be kind of nice.

the 18x7.5's are not for the zx2, but i can put them on there to see how they look. i will have them on the 240sx, luckily the lug patterns are paired together on 4 lug rims.
my 17's won't be going anywhere anytime soon. . .

Isn't it hard to put deep dish rims on FWD cars or something? It's not really something I've seen before, but I bet it would look pretty good.

most vw jetta's and golf's are FWD and the rear wheels are way deep-dish!
check this out!

Don't mind the ugly car, just look at the wheels.
17in Falken Hanabis. Have about an inch lip on them. Everywhere online says that they're 17x7.5 but if you measure them, they're 17x8. It sucks- because the 205 tire bulges on them.

Compared to a Motegi MR7- you can see where it's taller and an idea of the lip size-

Now I just need to get spacers in the rear so I can get 215s and be able to clear the strut. Right now those are just about touching the strut in the back.

At least get the right offset that they arent sticking out past your fenders. That shits gay. Same with having to run real stretched tires just so you have a lip.
That last VW is gay. 1st one's offset is too low pushing tires/wheels out too far.

To get a deep lip look, you need to find rims that have mass lip engineering. Check Axis or R-1 Racing. There are other companies that offer them. I believe the R-1 racing offers a 3.75 inch lip. And it is for fwd. I believe that is for a 8 inch wide wheel, so minus a half inch for 7.5 inch wide wheel.

I dont have plans to go stock again. I may be buying a local zx2 sooner or later and the body molds I'll be making will be for 16x8.5" rear and 16x8 front BBS wheels and 235's rear and 225's front. I want to make a similar e35 wide body kit. Everything will be custom. It will look exotic. That's the reason for wider tires and wheels, however i know the car will be front wheel driver, still besides carbon fiber lighter components I will work with a one of a kind titanium exhaust system never seen in a zx2 b4. Time will say it. For now I need to focus in new parts before getting into an adventure :P

The zx2nr had deep dish wheels and it looked pretty good. Having a body kit like that would make me change my mind about getting rid of my car in a heartbeat.

The money was there as a joke. Me and my buddies laugh at people who use 100's to compare things.

k so 18x8.5 seems to be smaller for my project, i think i'll go with 9.5" or 10" rear and 8" front LMS BBS wheels.
