Replacement Pins

Where do you find replacement pins that hold on the third brake light surround? Mine broke. And also, does the carpet piece help hold up the third brake light so it doesn't shine on the window?

When I need little parts like that I usually just go to the j/y and grab what I need. Also the rear deck doesn't actually hold up the light fixture (it bolts up), but I suppose it could help with any glare or reflecting of the light. The rear deck cover does the majority of the work for that though.

That's what I mean, is that the carpet piece that goes over the speakers? Because I cut a little piece off of it so I could remove it without removing the third brake light, but it looks like I may have to glue it back on.

It is carpet and plastic, one piece. To normally remove it you need to dissassemble the rear brake light. Really not too difficult. Fold down the seat, remove push pins (4 ithink), remove push pins on brake light cover, reomove brake light cover, unbolt the brake light housing (2 10mm) then the rear deck cover can be pulled off. Hope that helps.

Yea, we did that but I got tired of removing the third brake light to get that thing off, so I cut part of it off, but it looks like I'll need to replace it now....
