Was in the mood for buffalo chicken. The only chicken here was spicy chicken nuggets that I had dropped down to the fridge 3 days ago because no one was eating them and I ran out of room in the freezer after a grocery trip. Thawed but good, I scraped the breading which didn't have a good taste, sliced each nugget to about 1/8 inch and dropped it into a crock pot. Added my own personal buffalo sauce and left it go for about 4 hours. I have had 6 sandwiches so far. Lame recipe I know but it is actually pretty good. I have about 5 lbs of buffalo chicken to eat yet. If interested in the buffalo sauce recipe I start with Petes red hot, one bottle, add butter to a small sauce pan, puree fresh habs from my garden since they are hard to find around here, a pinch of onion and garlic powder and simmer for about 15 minutes. I make about 24 ounces per shot.
