Bottom Strut Mount Bolts

Went to order some from the dealer today, they want 14.95 for each nut, and 14.95 for each bolt, and the dealer would not tell me what size they where

Needless to say I just need to know what size they are so I can run to fastenal and get a set...

I know they take a 17 mm socket, would have to guess at least 14-15 mm, but that would just be a guess. I have my strut holes ovaled out for camber. Once they are tightened down, they don't move. I know a mechanic who works at the Ford dealership here I will try and ask him.

No chance of getting them from the j/y? I might be going to one tomorrow if you want me to attempt to get a few.

The bolts are 12MM shoulder bolts , about 2.5" UHL , not sure of the thread . Check NAPA , they might have them or grade 8's from Home Depot.

Just pop one bolt and nut out and have a friend drive you up to Fastenal. They will have a little plastic tool to measure the bolt length, width, thread. But I dont support Fastenal. Minnasotan Nazi's if you ask me.
