View Full Version : MIL Eliminator Specs?

I'm going to try and build a MIL eliminator for my car, since I don't know where our old one went. Does anybody have the correct resistance for the 02 sensor thing? A how-to would be great...

Im working on that right now just out of curiosity. When I tuned my car with Sniper and turned off the rear 02 i removed my mil eliminators, my dad has them and has been working with the guys at Mark electronics trying to duplicate them. I dont recall the resistance off the top of my head. Ill se what i can do about finding that for ya.

Use those sites for guides. I did mine last week and I passed inspection! And the resistance is one Megla Ohm (idk how to spell it)

Yeah... I'm wondering if the CEL will reduce power. Since putting the header on, it's just louder, and not really faster. It's kind of bugging me.

To tell you the truth, i drove with my 4-2-1 header for over a year without a MIL eliminator. But lately i have been fixing/maintaining my car better. So I can say I think there's a smoother powerband.

Well, I'll definitely give that guide a try, and hopefully get rid of the CEL. We had one for the longest time, and it gets annoying... I gotta get rid of it!

I have not looked yet, but are these wire colors correct? (in the schematic picture)
