I drive a 1996 Geo Tracker 4x4. Suprisingly it does OK off road. Its my dads but registered to me because of wrecking the ZX2 and needing some wheels. I pay gas, maintenance stuff, and insurance so its "mine" but when I get my 240 on the road it goes back to him.

Its got a Pioneer CD headunit, Alpine TypeS speakers front and rear, a 8" W1 sub in a ported box, powered by an Alpine amp.

Have a headunit sitting around for it, just haven't been able to find the faceplate for it yet. Mine is a V6, cause Chevy got smart when they made them and had 4cyl and V6 options. It's faster than my ZX2 stock, but gets about half the gas mileage. :mad:

I have added a front Mugen lip to it since the pics...too lazy to snap more, and at the end of the month will have some fat five wheels on her. Changed the exhaust too. No more grapfruit shooter. It is now just a Magnaflow muffler...need to weld my tip on though.

Its probably just from the different lighting betwen inside and outside. Its dark / grey / foggy looking on the back wall where it would naturally be a hot-spot from the bulb, and then becomes clearer towards the side walls.

Its down there with the worst HDR attempts I've seen! HAHA I've never attemped doing one but Ive read up on doing them some.

Its an svo shell with the 2.3 turbo delete mod. i had to use a gt front clip because at the time i could not find an svo cowl big enough to hide my victor jr. high rise intake topped with a holly 650 double pumper carb.

I had a Neon that I ran up to 140K miles, including 75K in a single year.

It was a very reliable car, probably faster than my Z is, was the easiest car ever to work on.

My mom still has a '97 Neon that she's only had to get a new computer for because it was acting funky. Other than that...no real problems.

Sure they're cheap, but they do run a long time and are cheap to own.

Also, I got rear-ended by a drug dealer in front of the Lancaster Prison :D and there was not really any damage except I needed a new bumper cover and I had to fix a ding in the bottom of the trunk lid. Why? Because the bumper popped off on impact. It's like a built-in damage preventer!

I guess everyone has different experiences with different cars. Because I know someone who owns a Neon and every time I turn around something is falling apart on it. And I've known other people who had issues with them. But my Z has been great to me. My 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 has done better than my husband's 2005 Chevy Equinox and the 1998 Ford Contour he had before that.

Now I've only gotten in one accident, and that's when I rear-ended somebody. It required me getting a new hood because I went under a Focus, but nothing major.

The Tracker has a full frame under it. I thought it was 3,600, but its really 3,306 lbs. Still a lot.

They are rated at around 24 city 26 highway. My 23mpg on average for being 12 years old doesn't seem bad. It's got 95,970 miles on it.

I've looked at sites and have seen high 20s - 30s.

Its a 3 speed with OD

It has had a CEL for the EGR valve for the past year or so. We already replaced it and cleaned all the carbon from the lines. 2 months later the lights on again. So, I've been driving with it on for a year now. It stalls at stops once in a while but I don't care LOL.

The gross vehicle weight isnt what it weighs, its the maximum it can weigh i think. Thats fully loaded with 5 passengers. The gross vehicle weight of my zx2 reads 3375 and i know it sure isnt anywhere near that with just me in it.
