Time for a S. Jersey meet

Okay, it has been talked about a little bit, but we should get something official going for a get together. One idea mentioned was to hav a weeknight gathering at Atco. So far pretty much any Tues or Thurs evening is good for me. It is about $15 to get into the pit area (allows for racing). If anyone has preference for a date speak up and I will confirm with the Atco schedule. If we would rather meet at someones residence I am all for that as well.

Yeah it is like a 5 hour drive. I could stay with my aunt if I really needed to but I'll be fine. All depends on what is going on and when.

It's a pretty nice Regulator. All the internal traces are doubled up for carrying heavy current loads for a long time. You better check you Alt. out though. You might be burning up your conections inside. Just take off the Reg, and spin the shaft to see the wires that run from the shaft to the outside coils. If they are starting to melt, then the Alt. is on it's last legs.
Maybe I can drop it off at BestBuy if you are working there next week.
Yes, Zing :D , how about if you can beat my 228K ATX daily driver :) Under 17 might be tough in 100 degree heat with 95 percent humidity.

ok well i figured out today that my sep belt is slippin (which causes my batt light to come on not my regulator) which really pisses me off casz i just got it bout a month ago fuckin pep boys must have given me the rong size belt.. so im debatin weather or not i should put on my powder with the gatorback or if i shoud wait and get an odp 4 my alt and just go get a gatorback in the right size

I won't take the glory from Dave and reveal his final run, but he really had a race going with the guy he lined up next to, he was pulling him down the stretch but got smoked off the line and that guy ran a 15.8.
I told an old buddy, that I used to go racing with, about running the escort and his responce was "If the 1996 Ty were here now, he'd be kicking your butt!" I ran a 2.54 sec 60ft time without any tire spin last night, I used to run 1.6's back in the day with my 10.5" tire's grabing for thier life and turn 103mph. Although, I did get 6mpg then :)

i ran a 16.2 with a really shitty launch against a scion tc i think with my swirlies a decent temp and some 93 octane i can hit 15's

16.966 @ 81.16mph with a half tank of gas and a child seat in the back :) What did you run Jaybird? I forgot, and how does it compare to your best time at the track. I'm wondering how the 90 degree temps effect the times. I forgot how much it effected my Mustang back in the day. I'm tinking something like a half second or more, but it was carburated.
Not sure if you saw my post in the 40mpg thread. I got 34.2mpg on my commute yesterday, the IAT mod has really help a lot. The Powder UDP and IAT mod have a combined increase of close to 4mpg. WooHoo! I even got 30 mpg on the tank of gas I used at the track, that's when I knew the IAT mod was working, because if I even got on it a little during my regular commute, I'd drop right down to 28-29mpg. I'm planning on filling up tonight to see what it was today :)
Dave, we gotta work on your launch. You were spining like crazy and making the Scion look like it was AWD. He had about two car length right off the line. You missed 15's because you were spinning the tires. Get some sticky, small diameter tires for your swirlies, then you may catch another few tenths plus the reduced wieght and you ought to be down in the 15's.
I was real happy to see 16's, I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't think 16's were possible with my combination.

The heat was providing some crappy times. If I recall, my best time so far is a 16.2. On tues I ran a 16.6 (with rims on and subs in trunk..usualy I remove the subs and switch wheels) so I am thinking that was not too terrible considering the heat and all. Ty, I just ordered my Timing belt parts, so as soon as I get them we can set something up.
