Signs of a Dieing ATX Trans?

ok so just to be sure the dipstick for the trans is the yellow topped dipstick correct?

if so then the fluid inside is brown/black and smells burnt. Ive been having like a clunk into gears from 1st to 2nd and to 3rd. sometimes stutters inbetween and holds at an rpm like its slipping around and then engages. is this signs that i need to get rid of it now? cuz i cant replace it or swap for a manual.

Fluid flush!!! Do it now!!!! Change the filter while you are at it.. My friend was noticing some of the same types of shifting problems. We did a fluid flush and it's driving like new..

How to tell if your ATX is dying.
Step one: lift hood and look at transmission.
Step two: is it an ATX? If yes go to step four, if no go to next step.
Step three: you are fine.
Step four: yep, it is dying.
