so my van breaks down today, it drops a coil pack (04 e250 161k) , I call in ask what they want to do, tow it in or drive it in. They said its my choice, so I drive it in, they tow it from my office to the main office (30 mins away) , call say it did drop a coil pack, but we're pissed off because the fuel was low. I said it was at a half tank, but chugged nearly all of that from point a to point b.

Then they followed it by saying that it could ruin the fuel filter, I laughed and said the fuel filter is under the drivers side frame rail, and should be replaced on a reg basis anyways. I said but running the fuel low (which it had barely hit the fuel light) does no harm to the filter. They urgently get off the phone, but it just pisses me off, its like they HAVE too blame it on someone. Like the dropped coil pack is the fuel levels fault.
