June 13 Midnight Madness

On June 13th Midnight Madness is going on at Gateway Drag strip in STL. Last time i went they were dragging and drifting from 9pm to 3am. its an awsome time. admission is $20 to run and $10 if your a spectator. i think its $15 to run if you have 2 spectators with you(not sure though). Im gonna go there with a couple buddys of mine who are runnin a N20 350Z and a POS civic. would enjoy it alot more if another zx2 was there(i was the only one last time lol)

ill be there tuesday as long as it doesnt get rained out or shut down....AGAIN. ive planned on going for the past 3 weeks now and something always happened whether it be rain or them shutting the track down for rewiring and stuff.

but if all goes well ill be there and hopefully pull off some good low 13 sec. passes

lol nah the slowest i ever ran in my car was 16.9 bone stock. Threw on a UDP, adjustable cam gear and intake, did some weight reduction and a year later ran a 15.9. Now ive done the turbo so im hoping for around 13.5's.

Comparing to some of the cars ive already raced and beat id assume thats about where i am. HOPEFULLY find out tuesday!

gates open for registration at 5 and racing starts at 6. i should be there around 530-545

well i didnt blow it up thankfully, but i did have really bad problems with my tune or something, couldnt get the car to leave 1st gear strong just bogged down and acted like it had no acceleration at all so i dunno what the deal is. Never had the problem before on the street but i get to the track and my car wont even run so eh.

my quickest run, and really the only one that i got some of my 1st gear was a 14.0 @ 103mph. with my first gear i should easily be mid 13's but oh well. Gonna try and work out some kinks and MAYBE run at midnight madness, but either way racing or not ill be there!

well when i raced zx2cambo he left me in the dust. but i did also have another dude in my car and its packed with shit. some im guessin that i was about 275 maybe more lbs over what i should be at by myself and with no weight reductions. so using the info in the weight reduction thread that would be like 0.3 secs extra on my ET. which imo is a ton.
i also didnt launch at all when we were at a stop so who knows.

anyways, if im not in the 17s im gonna shit myself. if i ever get the $$$ to do a mtx swap it should be another 1.0-1.25 off that easy.
