GM/DexCool Litigation Settlement

GM has proposed a DexCool Litigation Settlement for Claimants of GM Vehicles who have had issues arising from the Intake Manifold gaskets. DexCool in these engines can get contaiminated and it eats the gaskets, requiring repairs.

My sister has an Pontiac Aztek, and it cost $800+ for the gasket replacement and cleanup (Internal leakage)

Yes, dexcool is junk. Dexcool will outlast the life of the engine because it makes sure the engine doesn't last long. Dexcool mixed with traditional green coolant will cause even more catastrophic damage to your entire heating system.

Its not cheap either. We sell it alot at Oreilly's and its 15 bucks a Gallon.

Thats cheaper then Honda coolant which we sell for $18 a gallon.

we like the good old green stuff in ours car... cheaper than a gallon of dexshit but it dont eat the engine...!!
