Who has Gold plated Disc's ???

I just bought the 4 disc's, but theres a very important car show at the end of july, i just want to know how long does the gold plate last on the bracking surface.
I want the looks for the car show, but i also need the change the brackes and maybe its not worth to wait if is going to rub fast.

I had them. I can't remember how long the plating lasted on the braking surface, but I'm pretty sure it didn't last over a month. If they're drilled and slotted, those surfaces will retain the plating.

I'm going on 3-4 years with mine, and they still look good.

What brand did you buy?

They are only drill, i got the ones from r1 concept with axxis pads, i just want the gold plate to be nice on the bracking surface for the show.

Go around the block a couple of times , it wears off pretty quick . The plating on the rest of the rotor will last a long time . I've had them on since ' 98 , still look good .
