ive had my mirrors tinted blue for years now. cut out the tint to the shape of the mirror and lay it on. pretty simple.

I second the just taking tint and cutting it to size...
The amusing thing that I wanted to point out- next time you see one of those European cars, go look at the mirror- a LOT of the blue tinted ones say on the film "Remove before operating vehicle" or something like that. They're just on there to protect the mirrors during transport. I almost died laughing the first time that I noticed that.

eventualy youll have to peel it off and redo it though. it only holds up to the outside elements for so long.
be careful when you clean the car.

I guess I don't understand why you would tint the glass on the side mirror, would someone please explain, because I would think this is just completely pointless.....but then again I'm not so bright either.

Just for looks I guess.
It would keep your mirrors cooler too for whatever that's worth. :D

its mostly cosmetic. it does help at night because the lights arent nearly as bright. i can see cars behind me fine in day or night.

I have seen that blue tint on lincon mirrors before. I read the manual, and it said that they were self-adjusting anti glare mirrors, like it had a monochromatic liquid to darken and lighten depending on the amount of light that it was exposed to.
