I'm trying to install cruise control in my 98, problem is, the wiring plug for it isn't on my harness. I'm taking all the pieces I need out of my 99 parts car, so the wiring is there in it. How far back in the wiring do I need to go in order to get all necessary for proper function of the CC? Also, I'm installing power windows, would I need to grab the wiring for those or would it be possible to have wiring in my harness for pw/pl but no cc? Thanks in advance

Check your doors to see if the wiring is there for the windows and locks. The cruise control I would get the whole harness that goes from the engine bay to the steering wheel.

yeah that's what I was afraid I'd have to do. Can anyone else give me a more definite answer? I really don't want to take every wire and swap it over...

I've installed a cc system in my '01 from scratch, wasn't very hard, my car was not wired either
Id make a how-to if I knew how
BTW i used radio shack wire and a wiring diagram

ehh I pulled the wiring out of the parts car yesterday so I'll probably just rewire it sometime
