New battery

So I got a new battery for my jetski and I just filled it with acid. Waiting for it to settle then I have to charge it, blah blah blah.

The exhaust tube. Can I just leave it off? Will it effect anything? I mean, its vented without the tube anyways.

If it leaks inside the engine/craft bay...it will eat everything in it's path. Better safer than sorry....

Why do you not want to use it....saving weight fatty???? :)

Well I have never used it to be honest with you, and nothing has ever happened. The vent has no where to go outside of the engine bay anyways so I was wondering if it made a difference.

It is there to direct the fumes and possible acid away from stuff, and make it go to where it is safe to puke.

Then I guess I'll leave it off since the exhaust came with the battery and isn't in the actual jetski. There is no place to vent it, so it makes no difference.
