try to bang on the motor with the base of a screwdriver then try to raise the window with the switch, most of the time the motor isnt burnt, its just stuck.

not terribly difficult, but i just did my second manual to power window swap today. just remember you're just taking out the middle track, there's two 13mm bolts on top and one on the bottom and then you got your three 10mm bolts holding the motor and three more on the bracket that slides the window up. (you'll need to lower the window just lower than half way to reach those three bolts.) there's also that teh crazy cupped metal pan (held by three more 10mm bolts) in there that you'll have to take out so you can yank the motor assembly out.

second manual to power swap huh. im doing a manual to power swap as well however there is a catch to mine. i have to one, relocate the switches as i have tweeters mounted in the stock location. also, when i installed the front speakers i ran my own wire and inorder to get the wire into the door, and beacuse i had manual windows, i drilled about a 1/2 inch hole right through the connector, so inorder to install power windows i have to run all my own cable. any suggestions on how to do this. i know there are a few write ups out there but the all assume that you just plug into that connector and your all set.

sounds like a pita.. i'd just start over if you got new panels and mount the tweeters when you're done.
