Graphics were about $300 including entry we spent about $7000 so far.

spent alot on tires, new clutch, phantom grip posi, new battery, off road lights, new timing belt and pulleys, I spent nearly $1000 at Summit alone.

yes, chumpcar is value of 500 or less not including safety gear...lemons is "cost 500 or less" which leaves more room to cheat. "oh yeah, i got this SHO taurus for 499 from my cousin"...opposed to chumpcar where you can't get away with shenanigans like that.

This is a 98 ZX2 with 170K. I got the car for free cause the tranny was toast. Turned out 5th gear was wasted so I simply abandoned it, thats my sales pitch to chumpcar. I have a bare bones 98 zx2 with a broken tranny cause I didn't fix 5th gear.

Chumpcar goes by "Average Internet Value", they dont care what you paid for it. Also I am running this at the same track I ran a Lemons event and Chumpcar cut off entries at 65, half as much as Lemons. Lemons was fun but I spent alot of time just driving in traffic. Looking forward to less cars. Also Chumpcar has less emphasis on whacky themes.

Had it on the track Friday. I am saving my good tires for the event so I was running on shitty back up tires. I laid down a 1:27.3 on the 2 mile circuit, up against the speed limiter for a few hundred yards in the back straight. Things are looking promising. I am getting a high rpm mis fire, gonna unplug the knock sensor and maybe wires and a coil pack.
