1. lift this panel(just pull on it)

2. locate kick panel

3. remove these along w/kick panel

4. locate and tap green/black wire

5. remove rear piece of console(two screws, one on each side

6. remove ashtray, cupholder and shifter boot(much easier this way)

7. run wire across dash and through console

8. ground other wire

9. cut hole for button(make sure its not too high or too close to edge) i used a razor and heated it with a lighter

10. connect wires to button

11. test and put every thing back together
the button has no clearence issues and is tucked away from sight

why didnt i put it in the original location, you ask? cause i dont have the panel for the original location and a plus is that its out of sight.
