seriously. i would like to get a lot of you guys out to this show, to show your support for this fun little car, plus i will want to talk to you about some ideas i've been thinking about regarding the possibility of starting a socal club.

i just realized i only mailed in my festiva's, the escorts went out today so i will be bringing two cars. this will be the escorts 3rd showing at FFF. I have a nice little surprise with her suspension fully complete. Still gotta make some adjustments to the iceman to allow my strut tower brace to fit in.

I got a quote for $850 to paint the Festiva today, so im not sure if it will be rocking the rusty paint or a new coat of white before the show.

Dags is there a local dealer in SoCal that sells Plasti-dip or do I just order it online? They offer clearcoats and stuff too so I might be able to give the Festiva a gloss finish!

class 26 - all other fords. the escorts don't have their own class, at least not yet.

i have some ideas on getting better organized, possibly a socal club. that would require a few people in the LA/OC/SD/IE area to actually plan and show up to stuff. this would be a start at getting yourselves a class at the show. that's why i continually push to get at least 10 escorts at the show.

i liked it better when this site had a CA section, but someone thought it was better to lump everything together. :rolleyes:

anyhow, we can talk more about this kind of thing at the show.

if you stay at rosiepussy's* house plan on at least 1.5 hours to get there. Whatever you do, don't try to come in late as they are pretty strict about the gate closure. Gates open at 7. That is not too bad of a time to get there. The clusterfuck is usually around 8. Just be relaxed and enjoy all the cool loud cars and you will be okay :)

decided to not go to paintball this weekend so i wont be F**d up and broke for sunday

No zx2 for me. Car had oil in spark plug bay 1, 2 and 3 changed valve cover and gasket plugs and wires car is running on two cylinders. 1,3 seem to have already fouled up going around the block 2,4 are perfectly clean. Could be my coil or worse low compression in 1,3 I had an engine light that cleared when I reset the battery and the car doesn't run well enough for me to get it agian. I'll bring the festiva up tomorrow scort is stining dead in my garage.

See, the show was a great way to figure out the issue. You have enough of us talking about the same rig, looking at the engine, and it just became apparent what the problem was. Easy too. Hope to see yours there next year.
