[nevermind] recommendation for a convertible?

I'm looking to get the same bass I get from my 2 x 12" Alpine type R's in a ported box in the ZX2 but in a convertible... Can anybody through some insight as to how to accomplish this? Obviously, it doesn't have to be exactly the same face-shaking experience, but I'd like it to be loud, with the top down.

My friend had a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder with a single 12" Kicker Comp in a sealed box firing upwards at his trunk, and it was pretty loud with the top down.

So maybe to accomplish a similar effect, i should switch back from ported to sealed??

What advise can you guys give me =]

do you want any trunk space after the subs are in and the tops down or doesn't it matter.....if you don't care and are willing to use it all there are a lot of ways you can get the same bass
