if you want to go aftermarket, you need an adapter to drive the tachometer off the factory DIS system. Ford Racing makes one, autometer does too.

If so....i'm sure someone can come with something...lol

Does anyone know which wire to tap into? Would you recommend tapping directly into the ECU or behind the dash or taking the wire to the coil all of course with the use of an adapter. If so what color wire is the stock tachometer.
