My roommate has a Probe, and apparently the Probe boards suck.. so I am trying to find answers here...
The issues is that after he replaced the engine, (the other one started knocking) about 6 weeks later, he now has the issue that when the car hits 4.5k RPMs it dies. It does not stall, but the throttle is no longer responsive, it just goes to idle speed for about 3-5 seconds.
He replaced the Ignition coil, and the plugs, wires, distributor...
I was thinking to check the fuel pump next, or is there something else to look at first?
BTW - GL NOT GT, so it shouldnt be the auto fuel cut off that the GTs have when you lose steering control... i dont think they put that in the GL...
