I saw it at the jy yesterday. I don't have the cash. It's the medium blue (don't know the specific name) It's got 144k on the clock. The sign says it runs but needs tranny. I didn't talk to anyone, but it looked to be in good cosmetic condition (except for the rice-flavored gearshift knob). Looks completely stock, but I didn't look under hood. For $700 maybe a good start to a project! I'm in central Ohio. If someone's interested I'd be willing to go look into it more.

denim blue is the color. If you get it just for parts theres the valve cover, spark plug cover, fuel rail, headlights that are good for clear corner, transmission for rebuild, the taillights have weatherstripping on them(just an oddity) as well as any options it may have

I'm gonna see about getting the $$ tomorrow. I went and listened to it today after I posted. It sounds "perfect" motor-wise. The guy said if there's a tranny in the yard he'd throw it in free as well as any other missing parts!
I wrecked my black 98 a few years back, and she lost some of the integrity in my eyes. I like the "denim blue", so I won't even need paint! I'm gonna do what it takes to get it (within reason you sickos!)
I think it's an opportunity too good to pass up. It's not a salvage title, either!

that car has been there for a while. looks like a solid car but I never checked into it because I dont have a need for a 4th car. Good luck with the purchase. Do they offer a warranty with it like they do with the parts in the yard?
I was thinking about going out today to pull some parts I need. Keep your eye open for a mtx-75 out of a focus for me.

The guy used a 4.6 edis (same coil) from the yard, and slapped a maf on it.

Me and Brad came up with a win-win deal: I want it to transfer all my bolt-ons to- nothing else. I was gonna do this and scrap my original Z til brad proposed an awesome deal (in his sly little business-like way) He and I were already in the middle of a deal, and he's in essence gonna buy my current Z for $100 less than the amount of the jy Z, by buying the jy Z, helping me swap the bolt-ons from old to new and new to old.then he takes possession of my old car to do whatever wit and I have a denim blue Z instead of a black one.
I'm keeping my armrest, homie!

Actually, the reason I get most of the deals I get is because I take risks. If you would have told me about the risk of the $200 deposit, I would have done it in a heartbeat. But, shit happens. I found a 91 Talon for $500, so no biggie. Just kind of sucks since I REALLY wanted this to work out.
