Well basically:
car on- I can't shift into any gears.
car off- I can shift into any gear!

car off- shift into first gear. Start car and car starts driving away. push in clutch to stop rolling and it does nothing.
Car will not come out of current gear until I turn off car.
So I remove the tranny, view the clutch and nothing looks wrong. What's nexxt?

Clutch master cyl or slave cyl or your brake cyl is low on fluid? Sound like your clutch just isn't releasing...usualiy a hydraulics problem.

The pilot bearing looks ok. Do the roller spin freely when you stick your finger in there (carefull tha casing is sharp ). Have someone check to see if the slave cylinder is moving the fork at all when you press in on the clutch. Thats all I can think of being problem seeing everything.

Why in the word did you yank the trans?????
It probably was in the clutch hydraulic system.

why didnt you change out your clutch while trans was out? I would have even if not needed, but thats just me. Save yourself time

Isnt that just a contradiction right there? You said you took it apart to change the clutch but then say you dont have money to do that.

rollers do not spin freely. Is that good or bad? Does the battery have to be hooked up in order to check the fork?

Roller spinning freely is good. No battery needed to check the fork. If it isn't actuating you may need to bleed it.

Change the pilot bearing, usually comes with a clutch kit.

just resurface your stock one.

and I do that how?

it really doesnt look like you have any debris on your flywheel. Is it smooth? Id just get some polishing paper and work it. If it has debris on it and shit id just get it professionally done. Flywheels have to be TRUE.

You dont do it. you remove the flywheel and have a machine shop resurface it.

please do not take sandpaper to the thing. have a machine shop turn it.

+1000 to that. Usually costs about 80 bucks....at least around here.

is it just recommended or a must? because I dont' have the 80 bucks to do that unless it's completely neccessary...

I would definatly do it. Other wise it could mess up your new clutch. And thats not worth it. Just call up a machine shop and ask how much. shop around.

As long as you are in there, check all the parts real well.
If you are not sure, get someone who knows their shit to do so.
I have replaced clutches on many many vehicles without resurfacing the flywheel.
[I dress them with scotchbrite on an air tool, or carefully and evenly sand them a bit.
Many people don't have the funding for a perfect job. ] If the flywheel is not warped, you should be OK with dressing it yourself.
Common sense is your best friend.
