Magnaflow opinion...

Meh. The tips do kinda say riiice, but if i invested in a coupla straight, round, angle-cut, 2.5 slip-tips to replace them with, what about it for $50 NIB? Wouldja, Couldja?

Meh. I agree with the tips opinion.
I've got a PS catback exh. 2.25" with the PS muffler. It sounded good with my shorties and gutted cat, but with the Hotshot I got recently, it sounds like a pissed-off bumble bee driving a tank!

please don't get that muffler. those tips do say rice all over. thats something i would see on a over decaled kia, or riced out taurus. zx2's need to raise the bar. Borla. great sound, period.

Not only do I hate the tips that come up, but it's a double outlet. They just don't look right. Plus it would get black junk all over your bumper. I don't see why people even do it!

OK I hate the tips, but I don't mind the double tips. If the sound is good I'm gonna get it for good. If the sound doesn't account for the double tips I'll sell it. I'm not keeping the angled tips. I would never point the tips UP. I would however point them down ( as they're supposed to be), but I'll get the 2.25 straight, angle-cut tips and slip them bitches on the straight part after cutting the angles off!

I think dual tips can look good, but it depends on so many different things.

the pacesetter exhaust has a pretty panzi little resonator I think?? cut it out n get a longer one, I think some guys are using a 48" ?? Regardless, bigger resonator and borla muffler would sound great with 2.25" imo. I'm currently using a 2.5" resonated magnaflow exhaust..meh..from sound clips of borlas and the one I've heard/seen on a ZX2 here in Ottawa I would personally be shooting for Borla.

48" will just barely fit i think and would make almost all of the straight piping resonated. im runnin a 32" resonator.

and glad to here that the muffler would be angled up. theres so many cars around here that put muffler like that at a 45* angle up so that the tips are pointed almost back in the direction the car is goin. makes me gag.

Dude, 48" is 4 feet. That's ridiculous. I can't imagine needing a resonator that big.
