Are you sure its not the license plate???

There are several things that you could do.
1. Use the expandable foam and spray it in every little creves you can on the trunk lid
2. Adjust the latch down so you have to push down on the trunk lid to get it to lock.
3. Tighten all trunk lid screws/bolts. Lid could be loose.

There are a couple of others but thats where I would start. Do those then get back with us.

Could also be taillights.

That was one of the other ones. But its unlikely with one 12.

If it wasn't put back in perfectly after changing a bulb, it's possible.

ok guys i figured it out ,it wasnt even the trunk it was the plastic cover that goes between the bumper and the trunk(black platic piece that fills the gap between bumper and trunk) i took out the bumper and was gonna remove it but then it would look wierd so i just put dynomat where it meets the car and tightened it a little more and naw no more rattle ,thanks guys for giving me ideas.oooh by the way no midgets were hurt during the process
