I've painted my rear reflector with nightshades, and had planned to do the tail lights when I put LED bulbs in.
Well, I have the bulbs in, dealing with turbo blinker till I find the resistor thread that used to be here detailing how to fix that.
I'm now concerned with any legal problems black tail lights might bring me.
Anyone in Mass. ever have any issues with nightshaded tail lights?
(btw, the black reflector looks awesome)

If you're worried, just do fewer coats so it looks smoked instead of solid black.
It'll still look better than stock.

That's what I was thinking, I did 5 coats on the reflector, and I remember a thread from the old board saying that 3 coats was the max you should use.
I was going to do 1 and see how it looks, maybe go to 2 but not more than that.

That looks f-ing nasty. Are those regular lamps or LED?
That is pretty much exactly the look I'm going for.
What are those bulges on the lenses? --(duh, it's in your sig)
