Not much, maybe a half inch.
I was thinking of just picking up some thick rubber washers or something putting them between the wing and the trunck.
Has anyone done anything like this?

That is an awesome idea! You will get "uber" downforce which is perfect for fwd cars. You will be able to take corners at speeds previously thought unthinkable. Try to find triangle rubber washers. They will help you gain aero points!

If you want a bigger spoiler get one, but makes sure you can adjust it to create lift so your front end stays planted but not so much you lose all rear wheel traction at high speeds.
A semi larger spoiler is a good idea at high speeds, because these cars are so light that the front will start to lift up at higher speeds.

Just use some PVC pipe. Raise it up 3 feet.
Won't there be a gap if you just put washers where the bolt is? I think it would look bad and not really be any benefit.

ROFL.
My niece's fiance has like a 2 foot spoiler on a hyndai accent, it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Well that and the flashlight that tells him when to shift.

That's what I thought.
I was thinking of getting a chunk of vinyl and shaping what I want out of it.
I don't want much, just maybe a half inch.
I like the stock spoiler, but I think it will look a bit better a tiny bit higher than it is.

I tried doing this and it looked like poop. I think moving the whole spoiler closer to edge would be nicer... I've been thinking of that lately!
