This has been an on going problem for about 5 months now. The smoke is a dense white. Can't seem to figure out what is causing the smoke in between shifts and at idle. My pops did a compression test about 2 months ago with the results of 125-130. Anybody know what the possible problem is? By the way the car has the ihi turbo kit made by unlikely hero, with an sct livewire base tune from a supercharged svt focus. 42 lb. injectors, ford lightning 90 mm. maf. Any help would be greatly apprectiated.

head gasket or bad seal on the turbo (if the turbo is also water cooled)

125-130 is low , start looking for another motor. Should be around 170+ on a decent to newish motor, look for around 155+ on a stock boost motor in good shape.

Not a head gasket, the oil still looks fine. No milky color, and the coolant stays at the level its suppose to be. Looks like i'm going to have to get a new motor here pretty soon.

Do you have an oil pressure restrictor on the feed line of the turbo? The ZX2 makes 70 psi in oil pressure on average and that is way too much for the seals on a turbo to handle.

Might be the tune , the between shift thing , bt since its not black prob not

The turbo isn't water cooled, and also yes theirs an oil restrictor on the feed line.

The drain line could be blocked or if it has any low spots or hard turns, it will back up into the turbo and seep past the seals.

Did the compression test once again. The results were even worse than last time. Averaged about a 110 compression. Still amazes me how well the motor still runs and pulls.
