Well I guess what I was looking for is just a general description. Do you just take electrical wires and hide them? If so how? Every wire tuck Ive seen, it looks like nothing is there. Just curious, were does it all go?

More specifically, I meant like the engine bay. Help keep it from looking so cluttered.

ive thought about this. but when something goes wrong, you gotta take off a fender to fix it. I say fender because thats where most people end up putting it.

What do you mean it? The wires? Not quite understanding how that would work.

if something went wrong with the wires/solder points/ anything like the fuse box or ccrm you relocate. Granted you put it in the fender, itd be a pain to fix. Dont let me stop you haha, i wanna do this, just not as extreme.

where indeed ^^^ are you sure they even have the wire harness hooked up in that picture? Because there is next to no wiring anywhere aside from the plug wires.

Just reroute everything so you can't see it. It's self-explanatory. A lot of cables and wires probably need replaced with longer ones.
It's probably a frustrating and insanely time-consuming process that I really don't want to try...not for a ZX2 at least.

It's going to be a different set of instructions with every car or every engine since wires are different sizes and in different locations.
This is something that nothing more than general how-tos can be written unless you can find a car model-specific writeup. Every model's engine bay is different.
It's something you just have to do and learn along the way what works for your car.

A lot of the cars (hondas) that have the tucks that look like nothing is there have custom wire harness made. The stuff on the fenderwell is rerouted and the stuff that is on the engine are usually what get custom made from an original harness. The VWs seem to be even more tucked, like the one pictured. Funny thing is, that some of the Honda community tink wiretucks are becoming played out like lambos, because everyone does it now. Kind of hard to get the wow factor when your bay looks like eery other bay. The zx2 community hasn''t seen much of this, so it is still something refreshing. Here is a link that I am using for all my stuff. I was going to surprise everyone when the build was complete, but I figured what the heck. One thing about what was said about every car being different. I can tell you, if you get rid of your A/C and heat, it will give you much more space to reroute stuff. I kept my heat for chilly cruising nights, so I am having trouble getting stuff hid/ routed because there isn't enough wire. I'll figure it out though.

How does extending wires equate to the appearance of none at all?

You have to extend them to be able to relocate them so they are not visible.

Yea, when I checked the link I saw how the Honga guys did it. Seems a lot more involved then I thought.

i'm just keeping my wires clean. i think it looks good to tuck but not worth the effort. a clean bay looks good with or without wires.

Thats so tedious though. All that old caked on dust and oil. Whenever I try to wipe it down I either dont get it all off, or i smear it around or I miss spots. Im just not that patient.
