And how bad are they? What is the pattern like comapred to stock and aftermarker halogen bulbs?

What I've seen on other lower priced Ford cars that had stock halogen bulbs wasn't that great as far as beam pattern and reflection went, but I haven't seen a ZX2 with a HID bulb conversion in person.

i have them, i wouldnt go back to halogen, the price is steep, i paid 160 cash, and it was all plug and play. i went with 6000k for that white color. blue is annoying. here's a pic in the daytime. at night i can light up stop signs two - three blocks, and on the highway, it looks crisp.

I found a group buy elsewhere for the 4300K and 6000K 9007-3 HID kit and bought it. The 9007-3 bulbs allow you to retain your high and low beams. I'll do a review and post before and after results.

I installed the 4300K HID conversion kit today. I'll be posting before and after pics and a review soon.

Anyone done their fogs with HID's?

I just ordered a 6000k tilt/telescopic kit for the headlights and a 881 4300k kit for the fogs.

I thought about doing my fogs with an HID conversion. I'd probably get the 3000K bulbs if I do that since I actually use them as fog lights. I considered getting my driving lights converted to HID, but my headlights have so much light output that my driving lights don't do much. The driving lights just light up a little more on the sides of the road.

How much did you pay, and where did you get these? Another possible group buy?

I got them on a group buy on neons.org. The 9007-3 High-Low kit was $120 shipped. That also included a seperate harness for the HID stuff. Installation took less than an hour, but I had to drill a few small holes to mount the ballast for each headlight.

The group buys run regullarly there. They might be interested in doing a group buy here if we can get a minimum of 10 orders.

I paid like $220 2 years ago...They look so bad ass, I hate halogen bulbs now. Every new bike and car I get will get converted to HID. I'm buying the H4 for my buell soon.

Can you guys provide links for members like me who want to buy them. Im interested in a low/high beam set, preferably blue. Plug and play(minimal) wiring and also no moding to factory headlights...

Hey boss, are yours tilt/telescopic? I'm wondering if I am going to have to remove the metal shield inside the lense to make sure my bulb doesn't hit it? And Zx2 sleeper, ygpm

I'd be down to order some.

Where did you drill the holes?

I didn't have an issue with them hitting the shield. They are the 9007-3 bulbs that move in and out so you retain high and low beams.

As I mentioned above, it was the group buy at neons.org. Its in their forums in the Dealers/Group buys section.

Where did you drill the holes?

The plastic behind the front bumber between the bumper and radiator.
